East 12th Street

East 12th Street is a new construction, 100% affordable housing project located near Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA. The project’s 91 units are targeted towards low-income families and range from 20% to 60% AMI. The six-story, Type-III light gauge metal building will contain a variety of amenities including a community room, on-site property management and services offices, bike rooms, an exterior deck on Level 2, and an at-grade courtyard. Joy Dev Co assisted developer East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation with financing applications, helping to secure $56.7M in capital, and with project management from design development to financial closing and on-going construction administration.
